Identification number for the connection to the National Electricity Network. NMI number in most States will be an 10 or 11 digit number, such as 44012345678 or two letters followed by digits, such as QB044123456.

Refers to the IP (Ingress Protection) of switchboard. The rating is used to describe levels of sealing protection on electrical enclosures against solid objects and moisture.
