Type enum
Required

Type of Maintenance Shaft.

Accepted Values
ValueDescription
IS Inspection Shaft. An inspection opening fitted with a shaft to surface level sealed with a removable cap.
IT Inspection Tee. A tee fitting at the upstream end of a property connection sewer as an inspection opening with screw caps on all the inspection points.
Lamphole A legacy type of maintenance structure, typically with a DN375 concrete shaft.
MC Maintenance Chamber. A type of Maintenance Shaft with a diameter of at least DN450.
MS Maintenance Shaft. A proprietary maintenance structure usually prefabricated and of smaller diameter than a standard MH or MC.
RE Rodding End. A maintenance structure at the end of a DN150 reticulation sewer comprising a short radius bend and a vertical shaft, which terminates in a removable cover. (Used mostly on PVC sewer systems).
TMS Terminal Maintenance Shaft. A Maintenance Shaft installed at the end of a reticulation sewer.
TEP Terminal Entry Point. A maintenance structure used on the end of DN 250 or less polyethylene sewers comprising a short radius bend and a vertical shaft.
